At seventeen, Adam has suspected for a while that he might be gay. ‘When a confrontation with his devout parents forces him to reveal his true feelings, they send him to a Christian camp, warning him that there will be no room in their lives for a gay son. The last thing Adam expects is to meet someone at camp who he is deeply attracted to. But Paul is committed to his Christian faith, so Adam tries to bury his attraction by concentrating on his art and his new friends.

This particular novel by Tony Correia is a wonderful addition to the collection and will warm your heart as you navigate the ups and downs of a group of teens dealing with their particular issues while secluded from the rest of the world on a mountain retreat. The main focus of this particular book is LGBTQIA issues with the main characters being gay boys. It’s an easy and delightful read at 176 pages that will keep you and any young reader engaged from beginning to end.
If you’re looking for a light read over the weekend, or have a teenager in your life, I would encourage the reading of this book as I am sure both of you will truly enjoy it.
