Love Victor on June 11th – Season 2 of Love Victor is everything you would want it to be. What a great LGBTQIA Teen/Young Adult series this is turning out to be!

Victor is finally out of the closet. He comes out to his family and to his schoolmates.

As expected, the show does deal with a few social issues, but not overly so.

Victors mother has some issues concerning the religious attitude toward homosexuality, and a few of the guys on the basketball team have that locker room jock mentality, also they touch on some mental health conditions of one of the boy’s mothers.

To see Simon’s dad Jack Spier (Josh Duhamel) turn up in the show as a PFLAG sponsor was a pleasant surprise, and Simon Spier himself (Nick Robinson) makes another appearance once this season.

The way this season is dealing with sex, virginity, and that “first time” is both hilarious and sweet. But it is also the reason Disney decided to move the show from the flagship streaming services to the more adult-oriented (18+) Hulu.

Love, Victor premieres with all episodes on June 11th, only on Hulu.
