How to get over a breakup:
1: Go to Iceland
2: Get sent back in time
3: Get abducted by a hot, moody Viking werewolf
The tour guides sure didn’t prepare me for this…

Kieran
After my boyfriend cheats, my best friend sprints me to Reykjavik for a scenic getaway. This may be the escape I need to get over the jerk. What was supposed to be a beautiful boat cruise ends in chaos when I find myself transported to the age of the Vikings. Before I can catch my breath, Wulfric, a powerful and terrifying Viking warrior, takes me captive. But he’s not just a fearsome fighter. He and his clan are Ulfhednar, wolf shifters.

Humans are the natural enemies of Wulfric’s pack and the longer I linger in his time, the more dangerous my already precarious situation becomes. Despite our mutual dislike, Wulfric vows he will keep me alive until I can return to my time… but only if I let him claim me as his mate. Turns out, there’s a thin line between love and hate. Passion erupts, burning hot enough to melt the glaciers. As I see a soft and loving side to this strong, wounded warrior, I wonder where it is I call home. Can Wulfric’s past be my new present?

‘Heart of a Wolf’ is an enthralling novel that brilliantly intertwines the realms of shapeshifters, time travel, and Viking lore. With its gripping narrative and robust characters, this book is a must-read for fans of gay fantasy and adventure. The story follows Kieran, a human thrust back in time, who must navigate the complexities of becoming the mate of Wulfric, a Viking alpha.

Kieran’s journey is fraught with challenges, as he is seen as the least suitable mate for Wulfric, a shapeshifter caught in a world of ancient beliefs and fierce expectations. The tension between Kieran and the Viking community adds depth to the story, while the developing romance between him and Wulfric brings warmth and intrigue. Readers will find themselves on the edge of their seats, captivated by the dual threats of danger and love that underpin Kieran’s fate.

Its unique take on time travel and shapeshifting sets ‘Heart of a Wolf’ apart. As Kieran learns to embrace his unconventional role, the narrative builds a rich tapestry of Viking traditions and the supernatural. Additionally, the well-crafted supporting characters play crucial roles in the trials, and triumphs, Kieran faces. This first installment of the Viking Wolves series leaves me satisfied with the happy ending and excited for what lies ahead. Fans of the genre will undoubtedly find this book hard to put down, eager for more adventures in the series!
