Evan Crosby
After five years grinding in the AHL, I finally get my shot with the Coyotes. The playoffs are my chance to prove I belong in the NHL. No distractions. No mistakes. Then I walk into a bar in Scottsdale to celebrate… and lock eyes with him. Ronan Vale—dark hair, sinful eyeliner, and a voice that’s haunted my playlists for years. A rockstar who looks at me like I’m the only man in the room. I’ve always dated women. My career is hanging by a thread. And the last thing a playoff rookie needs is a scandal. But the way Ronan touches me? The way he makes me feel? Suddenly, the biggest risk of my career isn’t on the ice. It’s falling for him.
Ronan Vale
Fame taught me one thing—never let anyone close enough to break you. Music is safe. Touring is safe. Casual hookups are safe. Then Evan Crosby crashes into my life—sweet, nervous, and completely new to everything I am. He says this can’t be real. His career could be shattered if anyone finds out. But the way he kisses me tells a different story. And when the final buzzer sounds on his playoff run, he’ll have to decide. Protect the career he’s fought for… Or risk everything for a love neither of us saw coming.
Blue Line Collision marks the start of an exciting new Desert Elite Hockey series. As a captivating spin-off of the Desert Ice Hockey and Desert Football series, it continues to explore the lives of its beloved characters while introducing fresh faces that will keep you hooked.
This installment introduces us to an eclectic mix of characters, including a rock star and a gay hockey player. The story delves into the complexities of identity, examining hockey players’ struggles with their sexual orientation. This line sets the stage for the story’s central figures: Ronan, the charismatic rock star, and Evan, the talented hockey player.
One of the intriguing aspects of Blue Line Collision is the tension between personal identities and public personas. The storyline navigates these challenges, culminating in a satisfying resolution that emphasizes love and acceptance.
Ultimately, Blue Line Collision delivers an engaging read, full of emotional highs and lows. The familiar characters, paired with new ones, weave a rich tapestry of stories, ensuring a fabulous journey through the world of Desert Elite Hockey.
About The Author
Christie Gordon started writing gay and MM romance after accidentally finding Yaoi fanfiction and falling in love with it. I’ve always had stories in my head and enjoyed writing, so I decided to try my hand at the genre and took up fiction writing classes at a local community college.
I published my first MM romance book with eXtasy back in 2009. I always follow my muses wherever they take me, writing a mixture of paranormal, historical, and contemporary romances. I enjoy writing about men discovering themselves, overcoming obstacles, and finding love along the way, with a happy ending.
My day job is in the high-tech industry, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. I currently live in the Phoenix, Arizona, metro area, but I have also lived in the Bay Area of California and grew up in Minnesota. When I’m not writing, I watch boys’ love dramas or create digital artwork. I’m also a mother of two young adult sons, whose antics keep me on my toes. My one-eyed rescue pug is always by my side, snoring the day away.
