In visionary creator Bryan Fuller’s (“Hannibal,” “Pushing Daisies”) fantastical and wickedly inventive feature directorial debut, Dust Bunny, a 10-year-old girl joins forces with her hit man neighbor to confront each other’s monsters.
Ten-year-old Aurora has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He’s a hitman for hire. So, when Aurora needs help killing the beast that ate her entire family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job. Now, to protect her, he’ll need to battle an onslaught of assassins ― and accept that some monsters are real.

In a world swirling with monsters lurking under beds, a fluffy dust bunny is ready to wreak havoc! Yes, that’s right! This twist on the classic idea introduces a dust bunny that jumps to life in a chaotic blend of comedy and action. It’s not just about dust bunnies; it’s about a sinister aspect of childhood nightmares coming alive – and trust me, it’s as bizarre as it sounds!
The movie’s intensity draws you in with its mix of kung fu action and John Wick-inspired scenes. Hired guns face off against a fluffy foe that has a taste for blood! The over-the-top violence and dark comedy provide a thrilling contrast, making each moment both enjoyable and unforgettable. While the action is gripping, the hilarious interactions prove that fear and fun can coexist!
This film is a masterstroke in direction, Sigourney Weaver delivering yet another powerful performance alongside a talented cast. The cinematography is nothing short of stunning, elevating the film’s visuals while wrapping viewers in its absurd yet enthralling storyline. As the dust bunny dances with death amidst the hired guns, you’ll find yourself spellbound by its quirky, yet dangerous charm.
“Dust Bunny” delivers a uniquely enjoyable experience—equal parts horror, humor, and mesmerizing action.
