Peter Marc Jacobson is most likely a name you have not heard before, and if you have it is probably because he is Fran Drescher's High School sweetheart and husband of twenty-one years, that after their divorce came out.  But you know how they say behind every good man...well this is the man behind Fran Drescher and much of her success.

If I was forced to name the funniest person alive I would probably insist on a tie, Dame Edna and Bruce Vilanch.  Force me to pick only one...give me Bruce!  Bruce Vilanch is the most famous person you may have never heard of.  He is head writer for The Ocars, and writes The Emmy's, The Tony's and The Grammy's.  Bette Midler says he is “The first man to put something in my mouth that made us both money!”  A line I would be willing to bet he wrote for her.

Diana Degarmo was a junior in High School when she placed second on American Idol, with less than 2% of the votes separating her from winner Fantasia.  Sixteen at the time of her Runner-Up win, she remains the youngest to ever make it into the top two in Idol history.  But Idol was not the beginning for Degarmo, who began singing at a very early age.

The way people like to explain Dixie's Tupperware Party is that it is not your mothers' Tupperware Party.  Well, How could it be, unless your mother was white trash (wait there's more) who was forced to take her trailer and her children out of Alabama as a condition of her parole.

When I heard about An Evening with Judy Garland, the upcoming season opener for the Irving Symphony, my first thought was this is brilliant, why someone hasn’t done this before is beyond me.  My next question is who has the chutzpah to take on the original diva.

I first saw Judy Tenuta on my Twenty-First birthday.  A group of friends took me to a comedy club in Houston to see The LOVE GODDESS.  I had a fabulous evening laughing so hard I was literally in pain.  I remember her spotting two queens early on in her set and speculating that they might be florists.

Born and raised on the North Shore of Chicago Kate Loprest was one of those kids that were born acting. “I didn’t really live in the real world until I was about thirteen and I realized it wasn’t cool to play dress up and pretend anymore.  Obviously, that didn’t stop me, because I am still doing it!”
