Upon seeing her handmade prom dress, school officials gave Houston teen Marche Taylor a choice—go home or go to jail. She chose jail. According to Houston news station KHOU-TV, Taylor arrived at the prom in a skimpy gold top and mini skirt only to be told by a chaperone she would not be allowed inside because she was showing way too much skin.May 13, 2008

Texas Tech Coach Fined $10,000 for Bad Mouthing Officials
It’s one thing to fine professional athletes large amounts of money for rule violations, but this week the Big 12 Conference set a big precedent when they laid a $10,000 hit on Texas Tech coach Mike Leach for bad mouthing officials after the game. It set a new high for fines by the league and gave a distinct warning to anyone else who would think about criticizing the way things are run.

High School Teacher Resigns After Gay Wrestling Video Allegations

Truth Wins Out Responds to the Sexual Assault Conviction of 'Ex-Gay' Leader Christopher Austin
NEW YORK - Truth Wins Out expressed relief today that Christopher Austin, an 'ex-gay' counselor in Irving, Texas, was convicted of sexually assaulting a client. Austin was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but received seven years probation, had to register as a sex offender and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine. After years of reported abuse - including several alleged victims who testified at the trial - it is welcome news that Austin has finally been put out of business, says TWO.
