The object of Tequila's affection on the MTV reality show, Tila Tequila: A Shot at Love 2, blonde bombshell Kristy, turned down the key to Tequila’s heart during the show’s season finale shocker Tuesday. A tearful Kristy said no to Tequila’s offer for a “shot at love,” explaining that she just wasn’t up to the challenge at the moment. “That’s a key that I have to live up to and I can’t be that woman for you right now,” Kristy said, sucking back the tears. “It’s a key to her heart. I can’t accept that. I’m not ready for that. I’m not ready for her.” The show that pits oversexed young men and women against each other for a chance at becoming Tequila’s paramour du jour boiled down to blonde, female Kristy and dark, handsome nice guy Bo. But nice guys finish last and, in the end, Tequila chose to hang her heart and a plastic key around thankless Kristy. “I feel humiliated,” Tequila wailed following Kristy’s very public rejection. “I was really looking forward to my future with Kristy and Kristy totally crushes me and breaks my heart all over again… what’s wrong with me?” Tequila nearly missed her shot at a second season of the reality juggernaut last season when she chose tough boy Bobby over “futch” firefighter Dani. But alas, that relationship hit the skids and Tequila got another season. But this makes two seasons in which Tequila backed the wrong proverbial horse because Tequila's still single and Kristy’s rejection was swift and to the point. “It’s not fair for me to lie to her and tell her I want to be with her when I don’t,” Kristy said on national television. |
