Hypocrite of the Week: Rush Limbaugh
Rush Limbaugh is not a hypocrite because he masterminded ‘Operation Chaos,’ an attack strategy that simply exploits the democrats laissez-faire attitude about who is allowed to vote in their party’s primaries and caucuses. Limbaugh is a hypocrite because he has intentionally attempted to manipulate the 2008 race for the White House under the guise of wanting to do what’s best for America. Talk about a contradiction.

Gay and Lesbian Adults Reading and Responding to More Blogs than Heterosexuals
According to a recent national survey conducted by Harris Interactive®, gay and lesbian adults online are reading more blogs than their heterosexual counterparts. When asked, just over half (51 percent) of the gay and lesbian respondents reported reading some type of blog, compared to 36 percent of heterosexual adults.

'Idol' Contestant Colin Leahy Charged With Making Booty Call Texts to Minors
At 19 years old, Colin Leahy auditioned for American Idol, comparing himself to season two runner up Clay Aiken. He didn’t make the cut, but his 15 minutes didn’t stop there. Now, the 23-year-old elementary school volunteer is facing jail time for allegedly propositioning students.

Government officials say the death toll in Myanmar has reached 22,000 and climbing, with some 41,000 people missing in what's become the biggest natural disaster to hit Asia since the 2005 tsunami took 181,000 lives.

Nearly 100 Arrested in Drug Sting at San Diego State University
With its reputation as being the biggest party school in Southern California, nearly 100 students were arrested Tuesday in a sting operation at San Diego State University. Drugs, guns and cash were seized in the operation, which sources say came as the result of a five month undercover operation.

Myranmar Cyclone Death Toll Could Rise to 10,000
The death toll from the massive cyclone that wreaked havoc and destruction in Myanmar over the weekend is expected to climb as high as 10,000, making the human loss the highest of any natural disaster in Asia since 2004's devastating tsunami. But Myanmar's strict ruling Junta opt to allow for assistance from the International community.

Russian Gays to Stage ‘Day of Silence’ in St. Petersburg Next Month
Gay men and women in St. Petersburg will be marking the first-ever Russian Day of Silence on Saturday May 3 with a rally on Malaya Konyushennaya Street. Participants at the rally, which is sub-titled 'Sometimes to be heard you have to be silent' will have their mouths taped as they hand-out flyers and other promotional material to passers-by without comment, a spokesperson for the organizers said.
