Drifter
(Three out of Four Stars)
Mustang has a fine tradition of revealing the sensitive underbellies of grunty pigs. The men in
Drifter are raunchy, sure, but they're also tender and affectionate. There's none of the bravado that infects the worst of amateur pig flicks, the movies that feature men who howl and tremble like drunk vikings when they climax and it's like, come on!
Drifter is a bit more subtle, and all the men seem seem to be having just a lovely time.
There's even a bit of plot thrown into the mix, such as when
Ken Browning, the drifter himself, a smooth, slightly reddish mammoth of a hunk of a man with a juicy ass and something of a perspiration problem, walks in on two men screwing on the couch. He flips his head and turns away in a huff. How could they? Then there's the dude who rips his partner's underwear in half with a dramatic flair. Not so butch. For some reason it made me think of
Phantom of the Opera.
But the rest of this saga is totally hot. The guys are certainly hot enough: real men, down and dirty but clean and trimmed.
CJ Madison is a studly guy I've never seen before. He eats ass like a horny zen-master before pounding away. Too bad about the tattoo around his belly button.
Brett Matthews, a man with a gorgeous body who looks like a stockbroker from Connecticut, sucks dick with great concentration while taking it doggy style from behind. And then there's
Steve Cruz. That little guy is everywhere these days, trying his darndest, looking fine most of the time except for those random moments when he widens his eyes and for a moment resembles a mini-schnouzer humping someone's leg.
And of course, there's eleven-inch-man
Chad Hunt, the self-advertised biggest dick in porn, gay or straight. Obviously it's an impressive sight, but every time I see that dude in action, I can't help but imagine him showing up on set wearing nothing but a trench coat and pasties.
Overall, a great flick. And there's a plus: the DVD menu navigation is as sophisticated as it gets. Each scene is divided cleanly into several descriptive categories. I took advantage of this easy labeling to watch nothing but rimjobs my second viewing. These bears are mauling the picnic, and they're loving what they eat.
