Megan Fox tops the rest of the ladies landing the number-one spot on
FHM Magazine’s annual "100 Sexiest Women in the World" list.
The 22-year-old Fox beat last year’s winner
Jessica Alba, who fills this year’s No. 3 slot.
Jessica Biel landed in the No. 2 spot followed by Alba,
Elisha Cuthbert,
Scarlett Johansson,
Emmanuelle Chriqui,
Hilary Duff,
Tricia Helfer,
Blake Lively and
Kate Beckinsale.
"Megan Fox is a very deserving winner of this year's FHM title,"
Anthony Noguera,
FHM's editor-in-chief said.
"From out of nowhere, she's captured the hearts - and fantasies—of British men to capture the number one slot. With such incredible competition, and after just one major film role, that is an amazing achievement."
Often compared to
Angelina Jolie with her bad-girl tattoos—including a poem tattooed on her ribcage— Fox beat out the likes of Jolie (No. 12), pop sensation
Rihanna (No. 14),
Paris Hilton (No. 77) and
Britney Spears, who landed No. 100 the last spot on the list.
Fox debuted on
FHM’s list in 2006 at No. 68 and moved up the ranks just three places to No. 65 in 2007.
While
Transformer’s thrust her into the limelight, Fox is slated for several new projects including starring with
Kirsten Dunst in H
ow To Lose Friends and Alienate People, which is set to be released in October.
Nearly 9 million votes were cast for the 14th edition of the annual poll, which was held on their website,
FHMOnline.com.
