Halle Berry Gives Birth to Baby Girl

It’s a girl for Oscar winner Halle Berry and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The 41-year-old actress and the 32-year-old Versace looker welcomed their daughter into the world Sunday, the first child for both.  

Berry had expressed for years that she wanted to be a mother but said she was waiting for the right guy. After swearing off marriage on Oprah, she announced she and Aubry were expecting.  

Though reports did not reveal the baby’s name or the hospital’s location, a spokeswoman for Berry said mother and child are doing fine.  

Though Berry adopted the daughter of her second husband, singer Eric Benet, when the couple divorced in 2003 after Benet’s admitted infidelity, Berry’s relationship with his daughter was reportedly a rocky one.
