The Charlie’s Angels star and the "Mac" guy have called it quits.
Drew Barrymore and her beau Justin Long have broken up two months shy of their one year anniversary, according to a statement from Barrymore's publicist to Us Weekly.
The Hollywood couple was first spotted spending Labor Day weekend 2007 together and by Thanksgiving they were a full-on pair of lovebirds. The two, who were friends for seven years before starting today, seemed on the road to a long term relationship.
"My cheeks hurt, I'm so happy!" Barrymore said of Long in an interview with Vogue. Long told Vogue Barrymore was "Beauty and light, and she shines it on everybody who comes into contact with her."
Barrymore, 33, and Long, 30, appeared to be the perfect Hollywood pair, but Us Weekly broke the story this weekend that the couple has ended their relationship. "I can confirm the split with no additional comment, a spokesperson for Barrymore told People. Us Weekly reports the former couple will still remain friends, according to an unidentified source.
The pair starred together in the upcoming romantic comedy He’s Just Not that Into You, co-starring Jennifer Aniston and Scarlett Johansson. The film was slated for a summer release but has since been pushed to next year. In it, Barrymore plays a man shy writer who works for an all gay men's magazine.
Barrymore has been married twice, first to Los Angeles bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994. The relationship ended after only a few months. Her second marriage was to comedian Tom Green from July, 2001 to October, 2002. Barrymore dated Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti for five years after they met at a concert in 2002. Over the years, Barrymore has also been involved in several relationships with women and came out openly in 2003 that she was bisexual.
