Jessica Sierra
Former top-10 American Idol finalist Jessica Sierra is back in jail again this weekend after another run in with police. The 22-year-old was arrested on Saturday on charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violating her parole. Sierra has been in trouble with the law repeatedly for alcohol and drug related incidents since her appearance on American Idol in 2005.

According to the Associated Press, Jessica Sierra was arrested early Saturday after a drunken entanglement with police in Ybor City, Fla. Sierra was taken into custody at a bar around 2 a.m. and faces multiple charges, including violating conditions of her parole on previous felony battery and possession charges.

According to ActionNews.com, Sierra was 'causing a disturbance' at the Full Moon Saloon in Ybor City and was asked to leave the bar. The police were called in when she refused to leave and began arguing outside the bar with other customers.

The Tampa Police Department say Sierra continued to be disruptive and became "combative" with officers. After being arrested, she reportedly attempted to run away. Sierra is currently being held in the Orient Road Jail on no bond due to being on probation.

Sierra was sentenced in November to 12 months of probation and mandatory random drug testing after hitting a man over the head with a glass in a bar in Tampa. Sierra claimed she mistook the man for someone who had spat on her, according to the North Country Gazette. Cocaine was found in her possession when she was searched after her arrest. Sierra pleaded no contest to those charges. A civil suit regarding the incident is still pending.
