An altercation between country star Tim McGraw and an out-of-control fan was captured on video at a concert in Auburn, Washington earlier this week and posted on the YouTube web site. The Tim McGraw fight video features the country music icon hauling the unruly fan on stage before having him ejected from the concert. Several follow up videos of the fight from various angles have also been posted to the YouTube site from fans at the concert.
According a statement released by a representative for Tim McGraw, the whole fight started over a woman—which is about as right out of a country song as you can get. While performing at a concert in Auburn, McGraw reportedly spotted a large man in a cowboy hat physically harassing a female fan in the audience. The singer shouted for security to get rid of the guy, but apparently they didn’t move fast enough for McGraw.
While his band continued to play the instrumental to “Indian Outlaw,” around him, McGraw leaned down over the edge of the stage and began exchanging heated words with the man. After a few moments, McGraw grabbed the man by his arm and shirt and began hauling him onto the stage. Joined by security, McGraw helped to drag the offensive fan out of the crowd.
With fists cocked and ready to fly if needed, McGraw stood by while his security surrounded the angry, struggling man and escorted him off the stage. As the man was taken away, McGraw jumped back to the microphone to pick up where he’d left off, singing out the next line in “Indian Outlaw”—“I ain’t lookin’ for trouble.”
