Plans for White Party Spring Break 2008, which will be held from April 17 through April 20 in Palm Springs, have been announced and, as per the usual, this year’s event promises a weekend chock full of parties, music and men barely covered in stretches of white fabric.  

On tap to perform at this year’s penultimate gay spring circuit happening are Dirty Sexy Money’s Candis Cayne, former American Idol Frenchie Davis, pop diva Taylor Dayne, Broadway’s Shoshana Bean and club music sensation Debby Holiday.  

The weekend’s festivities will kick off politely on April 17 with a Welcome Party at Palm Springs hotspot the Oasis Nightclub and then go full throttle on Friday April 18 with an afternoon Spring Break Pool Party, followed by a Boxers of Briefs Underwear Party presented by Aussiebum.  

Saturday, April 19 will offer White Party denizens a chance to dance poolside once again as DJ Tracy Young and DJ Marco spin tunes while Candis Cayne and Frenchie Davis entertain the crowd alongside a bevy of scantily clads who will take to a poolside runway for a special swimwear fashion show. Later that evening, the party will reach its high point at the Xtreme T-Dance at White Party Park, where DJ Manny Lehman will shift the outdoor dance party into musical overdrive and Taylor Dayne will take the stage for a special, one-time-only performance, especially for the White Party boys, with music from her new album Satisfied.  

White Party Spring Break 2008 will end with a bang at the Closing Party in the Wyndham Hotel Ballroom, when DJ Brett Henrichsen and Tony Moran man the turntables playing a mix of soulful house, pulsing tribal beats and vocal anthems tailored especially for the night’s Go-Go Gods and throngs of die-hard White Party believers who are expected to party their way into the wee hours of Monday morning.
