The Saturday night concert will feature Flash Silvermoon, blues sister Omi Aladora Ajamu and the ultra hot, Sapphic, erotic, spiritual, political spoken words from Sista Flame, bustin' out of Orlando just for WWFest. As always, the jams with all the various performers joining in assures a roof raising elevating celebrating experience for all as we dance and groove into the night. Other surprise guests are likely!
Workshops at the festival will focus on topics such as wise woman's tarot, sacred stones, woman to woman tantra, African dance, Hatha Yoga, trauma release exercises, elemental alchemy, aura reading, belly dancing for healing and celebration and more.
On Sunday afternoon, from 4-6 pm, the festival concludes with a multitraditional circle for peace, justice and healing to raise the vibe for the tribe!
The camp space features vendors and hot, indoor showers, as well as a fabulous new chef so there will be great food for purchase [at great prices too] for vegies and meateaters alike.
Camping is free with tickets, which includes everything but meals. Tickets can be purchased at Wild Iris in advance or at
www.flashsilvermoon.com. Friday through Monday a.m. is $65 or $30 per day. Day of on site is $70 for the weekend or $35 per day cash, only at the gate. There is still room for some helpers and vendors. Attendees are asked to purchase tickets as early as possible to help with preparations for the festival.
This is the South's only spirtuality festival specifically for women, so come and join and make new friends and help create a spirited women's culture. This year's festival is dedicated to the memory of Tara Allen, whose love, support and resources helped to create the Wise Woman's Festival.
