Partying hard in a hot tub with underage coeds may be the kind of night one would except from a college football player, but this week, Cardinal's quarterback Matt Leinart seemed to be reliving his glory days, much to the chagrin of the NFL.

After racy “boys gone wild” type photos popped up on the net of the young QB, coach Ken Whisenhunt sat down to have a heart to heart with Leinart about his role on the team.

Photos of Leinart partying with buddy ex-boybander Nick Lachey began to surfaced earlier this week on TheDirty.com. The pictures show the men in a hot tub with several young ladies and holding beer bongs for college-aged girls.

While technically not illegal unless the women are under 21, it isn’t exactly the image that the NFL wants to portray in their athletes, explained coach Whisenhunt.

"I reiterated to him the type of behavior that we expect at all times from our players. He understands that as well as the level of scrutiny that he's under because of who he is. It's being handled internally.” Whisenhunt explained in a statement to the press.

Leinart was a star quarterback playing for the USC Trojans and won the Heisman Trophy his junior year for his excellent record on the field. He was drafted to Arizona in 2006 and signed a six year, $51 million deal with the team.

His first season out, he set a rookie quarterback passing record with 405 yards, but was outplayed the following year by fellow quarterback Kurt Warner.

Leinart is expected to start as quarterback for the upcoming 2008 season.
