High School Teacher Resigns After Gay Wrestling Video Allegations
Most schoolteachers have to take part time and summer jobs to help supplement their income, but this week a Ft. Bend, Texas teacher’s moonlighting may have cost him his job. The School board is investigating into allegations that one of their faculty members has appeared in over 50 sexually explicit, gay wrestling videos.

New Ritz-Carlton Set To Open In Dallas This August
The first Ritz-Carlton Hotel opening in the United States in four years is scheduled to take place in Dallas on August 15, 2007. The news comes on the heels of last month’s announcement that the Ritz Carlton would be closing its hotel in Hong Kong effective January, 2008.

Victory Fund Applauds Gay Candidate in Dallas Mayoral Race
The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund commended Dallas City Councilman Ed Oakley Saturday on his historic run to become the city's next mayor. Oakley lost a runoff election Saturday to retired business executive Tom Leppert, who loaned himself hundreds of thousands of dollars to help fund his campaign. Oakley and Leppert were the top two vote- getters in a field of 11 candidates in the general election on May 12.
